The official results for the Bluewater 10k are now in and I am glad to see I did not come last, actually I managed 1919 out of 2115 with an official time of 1:14:21 and a chip time of 1:13:12. This was only 6 minutes slower than the best 10k I had managed in training for the event 1 year earlier.
The winner completed the course in 30:55 and the last person coming in at 1:49:02. All in all quite pleased with that considering I had almost no training leadin up to the event and was nursing a bad hip on what was the most hilly run I have ever completed (and one toilet break).
